Sue Yowell's son Micah and his family is visiting from Minnesota with his mother-in-law from Tulsa. They have a grandson who is 1yr old.

Pass the Gavel is tonight, June 25th is at O'Connor Pavilion (1700 Fish Hatchery Road). Look for the large, yellow balloons that will mark the entrance.  Social hour from 4-5:30 pm and Dinner will be around 5:30pm.  Program @ 6:15pm.

Niki and Scott announced that the Shred of Hope fundraiser for "The Bridge of Estes", brought in $5,000 from the event last week. This is a Non-profit Providing Services and Support to Cancer Patients in the Estes Valley. To continue to donate to this charity, checks can be written and dropped off at Crossroads Ministry.

Community Service opportunity: Peggy Young with the Scottish Irish Festival is looking for help with the Estes Park International Tattoo Sunday Matinee, Sunday, Sept 8.  They need personnel to staff the gates, sell and take tickets.  This would be for Sunday afternoon beginning at noon to 3:30. They need 10 people. This comes with a donation for the entire Club.  We will start a sign up sheet at our weekly meetings.

We can sell Raffle tickets at the Rodeo during the following evenings from 5:30pm-7pm.  Here are the evenings that are still open:

Rodeo Parade Float - We should be able to build the float in a couple days.  Anyone who can help with building our Rotary Float is invited to come by for an hour or two tomorrow and Thursday this week (June 26 and June 27) at 7:00pm 1070 Lexington Lane (Stacey and Dan's).  This year's theme is "American Cowboy".   The Rodeo parade is July 8th at 10am.

John Minier also gave us approval to sell Raffle Tickets at each of the Listening at the Legion Concerts.  Kendra volunteered for tomorrow night.  If you would like to volunteer, you will also enjoy the concerts for free.  Sign up sheets will be at our meetings each week. 

John Tessler announced that the Legion is having an Ice Cream social on Sunday, July 28^th  from 2pm-5pm at the Legion.  There will also be specialty drinks.  It coincides with the start of the Summer Olympics. 

John announced that Sunrise Rotary Dues need to be paid by June 30th.  

Bill announced a Sunrise Rotary breakfast buffet price increase from $15 to $18 starting on July 9th.

John Tessler presented Eric Blackhurst, Sunrise Rotary Foundation Treasurer, with a $4,000 scholarship check for Jennifer Kinch, senior at Colorado School of the Mines.  

Stacey Winsor asked for our prayers for her daughter Katie who was in a terrible car accident last week.  Katie is going to be fine and is healing from some broken ribs, bruises and sore body. 

Sue Yowell is looking for a home(s) for her two pets; Ruby, a 14 year Lab and Gem, a 4 year old Calico cat.  Her grandson who lives near her is allergic to animals, so she has made the decision to find new homes for these pets.
