Our District 5440 Conference is in Steamboat Springs May 16-19 - There are 8 Rotarians from Estes Park heading to Steamboat Springs.
o We have collected mobility devices to donate to CRUTCHES 4 AFRICA, our District Conference Community Service project.
o We will have a booth in the "World Cafe" that will feature our International Clean Water project in Ecuador.
o Our Silent Auction entry will be "a $700Estes Park Getaway” package. Our basket is FULL!! Thanks to everyone who donated something. Proceeds from the Silent Auction will also go to CRUTCHES 4 AFRICA.
Joint social with Noon Rotary on Thursday, 5:00pm May 30th at High Peak Camp. The Salvation Army has this camp for a retreat of inner city kids to have an experience at a camp.

Stacey’s son and girlfriend are coming to visit for a few days and Stacey is already cooking up storm. They haven’t visited for a couple years.
John and Sally Tessler are heading to Indiana to see their daughter- in law receive her Master’s Degree from Notre Dame.
Sue Yowell said that the Estes Park Learning Place dinner last week was a success.

Karen Nicholson announced our rollout of the new 30th Anniversary Autumn Gold merchandise. She unveiled our limited-edition poster (100 copies only) @ $30 each. The informational poster will be available within the next week or so to take to local businesses.
The Senior Center is offering a First Aid course on Fri., June 7 from 1 to 3 p.m., and a CPR/AED class will be offered on Sat., June 8, from 10 a.m. to noon. And, if they have enough members register for the CPR/AED class, it will also be offered that Saturday afternoon from 1 to 3 p.m. The classes will be taught by Debbie Holmes, an American Heart Association certified instructor. Must register by June 1st. The cost of these classes for members will be $40 for one class or $60 for both.
Operation Gratitude is collecting items in support of Military Appreciation Month. The organization's mission is to express gratitude and thank our Military and First Responder communities for their service by creating opportunities for all Americans to show appreciation. The care packages that are prepared and sent out contain items meant to boost the morale and resilience of our service members and give them warm reminders of home.
