2026 Community Grant recipients

Today we awarded 20 Nonprofits with our annual community grants awards totaling $32,500.

 Congratulations to all of our recipients. 

Don't forget to pay your Estes Valley Sunrise Rotary Annual Dues - $300. 

Please bring your payment to Teresa Mueller by June 30th or mail a check ot PO Box 4261, Estes Park, CO 80517 asap.   

Our 2027 Rotary District 5440 Conference will be June 4-5, 2027 in Casper Wyoming.

Register by June 30, 2026, and secure your spot for the special Early Bird rate of just $200.  Hotel is not included.  Click here to register.

The 2026 Rotary International Convention in Taipei, Taiwan just finished.  

The four-day event attracted more than 38,000 people from 140 countries and regions, making it one of Rotary’s largest conventions in recent years.

Originally planned for Dubai, the 2027 Rotary International Convention will finally be held in Barcelona from June 26 to 30, 2027.

This strategic decision was taken due to the current geopolitical context in the Gulf region, in order to guarantee participants a peaceful, accessible and secure event.

This change illustrates Rotary’s ability to adapt to international challenges, while preserving the essentials: bringing together thousands of members from around the world around common values of service, friendship and peace.

Barcelona, an open, dynamic city with major infrastructure for large congresses, offers a particularly favorable setting to host this global event.

The Convention remains a key moment in Rotary life: inspiring conferences, intercultural exchanges, discoveries of humanitarian projects and celebration of collective impact.

In 2027, the Rotary community will therefore meet in Spain to continue its mission: to serve first and strengthen ties between peoples.

Estes Valley Sunrise Rotary will celebrate passing the gavel from Gordon Slack to President Elect Stacey Winsor.  

      Dinner and Recognition

      Date: Tuesday, June 30

Time: 5:30pm-8pm

Location: The home of Kendra and Kevin Wallis, 2410 Spruce Ln in Carriage Hills. 

The Club will provide hamburgers and brats but we ask that attendees bring an appetizer, salad, side, or dessert. There will be some wine and beer available but ask you bring your own non-alcoholic beverages.
