Dave Boon gave a presentation on the Rocky Mountain Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) program that takes place every summer at the YMCA of the Rockies. Dave has been involved in Young RYLA and RYLA since 2003.
Did you know that RYLA (10-12th grade) and Young RYLA (7th grade) was the first of its kind in North America. It started right here at the YMCA of the Rockies in July 1987 as a co-ed program. And it was just 2 years when women were allowed to join Rotary!

Our Estes Valley Sunrise Rotary Club’s Matching Grants Program make your giving go further. During March every year, members donate up to $200 to a nonprofit they care about, and Sunrise Rotary Club will match it dollar-for-dollar. With a total program cap of $3,300, it’s a great opportunity to double your impact while supporting causes that matter to you and to help our Sunrise Rotary extend our support across our community.
We are lucky to have a very forward thinking Public Image Team in Zones 26/27. Any Club can submit a Rotary story that helps people understand how service, leadership, and impace take shape through real Rotary experiences and reflection.
