One More Week for Rotary Matching Grants! March 31 Deadline
If you are interested in giving a donation to your local nonprofit of choice AND have Sunrise Rotary match your donation, our Matching Grants Program doubles a member’s donation up to $200.
If a club member gives $200, EVSR will match that $200 and the nonprofit will receive $400.
• Eligible local nonprofits must be registered with the Estes Park Nonprofit Resource Center (EPNRC). Certain international nonprofits will be allowed: Rotary Charities, YMCA, and Salvation Army.
• Members can apply for a matching donation up until March 31st , 2025.

RYLA and Young RYLA - 3 Spots Open! Deadline to Apply is March 30th

RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) is a life-changing leadership training program where young people learn, develop, and enhance leadership skills and principles in an atmosphere of trust and respect. RYLA encourages and assists current and potential youth leaders in methods of responsible and effective leadership. Many past RYLAriansclaim, “It was the best week of my life!”
RYLA - Sunday, July 27 – Friday, August 1, 2025
Students who are currently a high school sophomore, junior, or senior, may apply to attend RYLA. Generally, applicants selected have excelled in one or more areas of high school involvement and have potential or proven leadership experience. RYLA will be held at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park. Colorado.
Young RYLA - June 22 - June 27 2025 or July 6 – July 11, 2025
Any current 7th grader may to apply to attend either one of the Young RYLA Conferences. Both conferences in 2024 will be held at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park. Colorado.
RYLA Plus - June 22 - June 26, 2025
Physically disabled students who are currently a high school sophomore, junior, or senior, may apply to attend RYLA. RYLA Plus will be held at the Easter Seals Colorado – Rocky Mountain Village in Empire Colorado.
The 2025 Rotary International Convention is a short 18 hour drive to Calgary Canada, June 21-25. If you've never been to an international conference, you should consider this one!
Ren Gobris, Deb Coombs and Linda Brown presented on the Estes Valley Community Garden grant they received from Rotary. EVCG received a $4000 grant ($2K from us and $2K from Noon Rotary) to construct 8 raised garden beds complete with an elk excluding fence at the Falcon Ridge Apartments that is owned and operated by the Estes Park Housing Authority. That project was a great success and 100% of Rotary funding was consumed in its completion.
