Autumn Gold Festival - Sep 19-21
We are just about ready for the Autumn Gold Festival. Check out the website for event dates and times.
We need volunteers for set up on these days:
Thursday, Sep 18 - 2:00pm-5:00pm
Set up 6 or 7 tents in Bond Park
Friday, Sep 19 as Noon -4:00pm
Set up the Kitchen
Set up the Beer/Wine Garden
Hang Banners around Bond Park
Set up 21 Tables with tablecloths and 150 chairs
Volunteer! We still need lots of volunteers at the Autumn Gold Festival, especially in the areas of cooking brats, ID Checkers, cashiers and tear down/clean up. Here is the link to check out all the Volunteers opportunities.
Our trip to the Rainforest has been postponed 4-6 weeks in order for our shipment to arrive, clear Customs and be transported to a secure storage facility in Puyo, Ecuador.
Still Time to Recycle your Reader Eyeglasses!
(and water bottles, too)
Please bring any reader eyeglasses and water bottles you no longer need to Jean or Teresa by OcT 20th. They are running an eye clinic and distributing water bottles in the Rainforest in Ecuador in 4-6 wEEKS.
