Bill Howell - Sept 18th (2012)
Thank you letter
  • The League of Women Voters Community Recycling Committee would like to thank Sunrise Rotary's support of our Estes Recycles Day 2023 event on August 12. With the financial support of Sunrise Rotary and other community actors this year, we were able not only to reduce our fees very substantially but also to increase the number and type of items collected. In addition, we were able to establish a new partnership with the Town of Estes Park and Larimer County to collect household batteries. As a result, we almost doubled the number of households served and approximately tripled the tonnage of electronics recycled compared to last year. This is especially significant, since landfilling of electronics is a violation of Colorado state law.
Upcoming Events
Lazy B Chuck Wagon dinner and show - Friday, September 15th, 5:00pm - 8:00pm
