Good News
Rodeo Parade Float committee met Monday evening and came up with a design for our Rotary Float. It will be a stagecoach design and both Rotary Clubs will work together to build it next week on Wed and Thursday evenings (June 26 & 27) at Stacey and Dan's house. Please come help if you can, even if it's just for an hour. We should be able to build it in a couple evenings.

Community Service opportunity: Peggy Young with the Scottish Irish Festival is looking for help with the Estes Park International Tattoo Sunday Matinee, Sept 8. They need personnel to staff the gates, sell and take tickets. This would be for Sunday afternoon beginning at noon to 3:30. They need 10 people. This comes with a donation for the entire Club. We will start a sign up sheet at our weekly meetings.
Rodeo ParadeFloat - We should be able to build the float in a couple days. Anyone who can help with building our Rotary Float is invited to come by for an hour or two next week on Wed and Thurs, June 26 and June 27 at 6:30pm 1070 Lexington Lane (Stacey and Dan's). This year's theme is "American Cowboy". The Rodeo parade is July 8th.
Pass the Gavel June 25th is at O'Connor Pavilion (1700 Fish Hatchery Road). Social hour from 4-5:30 pm and Dinner will be around 5:30pm.
John Tessler announced that the Legion is having an Ice Cream social on Sunday, July 28th from 2pm-5pm at the Legion. There will also be specialty drinks. It coincides with the start of the Summer Olympics.
Cory announced that the Fine Art Guild of the Rockies presents their Summer Youth Theater Camp this weekend with Disney's Newsies Jr. 31 Amazing Young Actors from Estes Park and Surrounding Cities will be Seizing the Day on June 22 & 23! Tickets and Show times are Saturday night at 7pm & Sunday afternoon at 2pm. Samantha Workman is the Music Director.
Shred and Recycle Event - June 20-22
Shred of Hope is a Fundraising Event that benefits The Bridge of Estes, a Non-profit Providing Services and Support to Cancer Patients in the Estes Valley.

“Women in the Rockies” conference is July 26-28 in Westcliff, Colorado. 6 or 7 members from our Sunrise Rotary Club have expressed interest in attending. but please confirm with Jean if you are interested in attending so we can get a headcount.
