This weekend is our Labor Day Arts & Crafts SHow - Aug 29 (setup) -Sep 1
We are a couple days away from the Labor Day Arts & Crafts Show. We still need volunteers in several areas so if you find you have some time Friday - Monday, just come on by the Headquarters Tent and we'll find a job for you.
This show is a major fundraiser for our Club, rain or shine!
Please bring any reader eyeglasses and water bottles you no longer need to Jean or Teresa by Sep 20th. They are running an eye clinic and distributing water bottles in the Rainforest in Ecuador the last week of September.
Autumn Gold Festival Volunteers Needed - Sep 19-21
Help distribute our Autumn Gold posters to local businesses.
Help promote Raffle Sales by directing your friends and neighbors to our website.
Volunteer! We still need lots of volunteers at the Autumn Gold Festival, especially in the areas of cooking brats, cashiers and tear down/clean up. Here is the link to check out all the Volunteers opportunities. Look at each of the "tabs" at the bottom of the spreadsheet for all the areas where we need volunteers.
Is it the truth?
This first question reminds us of the importance of honesty. Seeking the truth in our actions and words prevents misunderstandings, rumors, and injustices. It builds mutual trust.
Is it fair to all concerned?
Rotary encourages loyalty, not only to friends and colleagues, but also to the community. Fairness and equity ensure balanced and lasting relationships.
Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
This dimension emphasizes social peace. Acting with kindness fosters understanding and prevents conflict.
Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
Finally, Rotarians aim for the public good. A decision must go beyond personal gain to serve the common good, the founding principle of our commitment.
